| What is biodiesel? |
|---|
Biodiesel is a non-toxic and biodegradable fuel made from vegetable oil and sometimes animal fat that has been chemically altered through a process known as transesterification. Any diesel engine can run on biodiesel with no mechanical conversion. It is a direct replacement and can be used for many diesel appliances (like heaters, stoves, water heaters and so on) as well as in autos, trucks and farm equipment.
